To blog or not to blog......that is the question.

I was advised to start a blog to increase awareness of our business. After a few days I was than told not to blog. After a lot of going back and forth, the answer for me is to blog. It serves many purposes and the number on reason to blog is to share my journey as a woman business owner. So my goal is to blog twice a week. I realize that their may be good information I can provide to you, the reader, about various topics in regards to my business adventure as well as good carpet cleaning tips, so here we go..........

Adventures in carpet cleaning aka just another women owned business

So I have been told that social media is the new way of marketing so here is my first attempts of blogging. I have tried to blog about my personal life for years now and I keep asking myself do I really want all that info about me out there on the web? I know, I know, you can always have a private blog but still. I don't understand the web enough to feel safe with it yet.

So you are probably asking why are you blogging about your business? Isn't it riskier? To be honest I don't know but here I am trying to succeed as a business woman and I am just doing what I am told. Wish me luck. As with everything else I am sure this will be an adventure in learning!
